Twin Falls County

Twin Falls County lies in the rich and fertile plains of Idaho’s Magic Valley, an agriculturally rich area fed by the water from the Snake River. As early as the mid-1800’s, pioneers on their way West would routinely detour to the majestic and awe-inspiring Shoshone Falls, where they would witness the spray from one of the largest natural waterfalls in the United States. The Falls are 212 feet tall and over 900 feet wide. The nearby city of Twin Falls, named for another set of waterfalls on the Snake River, soon became a booming place of economic development.
